Powhattan

1970’s home on a unique urban site adjacent to rock cliffs and a lush, green hillside required extensive exterior and interior renovations to establish a clear, cohesive and current architectural style. Exterior geometric forms are clarified through delineation of materials, textures and colors. Interior renovations define and unify awkward, oversized areas while integrating contemporary design layouts, materials and finishes. New doors and windows along the west wall provide natural light and private views to adjacent green space. New tiered and landscaped patio areas invite flow from the informal dining area and kitchen to the exterior.
